Alec’s School

After a long night meeting by the parent association and Alec’s school officials last night, the school has finally agreed to close for 7 days starting today.

Apparently, the Primary 6 ill student who was first diagnosed with the Atypical Pneumonia was after all, proved to be not the case. However, in light of the school having students whose family members have caught the Pneumonia, the school official “gave in” to the parent association and have the school closed.

Upon calling other parents, we’ve found out that the related secondary school to Alec’s primary school as 2 infected students. Yet again, no announcement has been made, and the secondary school students have *not* been asked to wear masks at school.

I am starting to get a hang of things using the weblog here, and I have been using a text editor for my longer posts to take advantage of its spell check function.

In order to improve my English and to maintain my Soliloquy in more of an international status, I have taken a paid subscription to the SCMP website, a local English newspaper. I hope to at least get the correct English names of government officials and other terms from the news for my own posts.
