Today, Steve, Vincent, Kerby, Cornel, and myself had dinner at the Great Shanghai Restaurant. Normally on a Friday evening, restaurants in the Tsim Sha Tsui area would have been packed with customers; however, with the killer Pneumonia virus epidemic affecting the local living, the restaurant was almost empty. I for one, have not been to any busy streets or public transits in the past 10 days or so.
We apologize for the medical masks, but we simply could not let this Kodak moment pass by without a photo. Nevertheless, we had a great time at the dinner, and some of us planned on having a game of golf with Steve the next time he comes over.

Going to the Great Shanghai Restaurant with a few alumnus and a staff from the SLS tonight. Is it true that the chef has to blowup the duck during the process of roasting a Peking Duck?… hmmm….
Does the chef wear a medical mask?…. Does the duck…?

The Chief Executive of the HKSAR announced a set of SAR wide procedures at about 18:45 last night in order to curb the deadly Pneumonia virus epidemic, which had killed over 10 people within the region recently.
One of the procedures involve a self-discipline home confinement of all those who thought to have direct contact with an infected person, such as their family members, and they must report to the authorities for daily checkups for a duration of 10 days… starting next Monday, the 31st of March….
Later last night, the HKSAR reported the daily number of infected persons has doubled yesterday to over 50! Making the total reported number of infected persons to 367 as of last night.
Should this number increase exponentially instead of the previous linearly (with the unwisely deferred starting date it most surely would), by Monday, the number of infected persons could be over 500, and the number of family members could rise to much higher than the estimated 1000.
WhaUSay?!
