I happened to drive by the corner of Connaught Road and Ice House Street at precisely 6:43 pm after picking up my husband. (Thanks God, if my husband had managed to come out of his office just 3 mins sooner, what would I be seeing?!) I was merely 15 feet or so away when I noticed a body lying there right outside the Mandarin Hotel - I had no idea that it was Leslie Cheung! The body that I saw looked absolutely ‘one piece’ and to my surprise, there were no traces of blood left on the ground! Every day, many people all over the world are struggling to survive; why should we easily let ourselves slip away like that? It’s so sad.
Last night after I heard the news, I watched the DVD Inner Senses (異度空間), staring Leslie Cheung, for the first time. Still not scary enough considering the circumstances…
As the plot unfolded, I wondered if he acted too seriously in that movie and couldn’t get himself out of the character he portrayed, and….
leslie was a very good singer,
unfortuantley when i heard his songs they were great and the my parents said he died just a few days after my parents went to vietnam
Leslie reminded me of my childhood days. I also happen to share the same birthday with the guy.
