In my report on the death of local pop star and actor, Leslie Cheung, I wrote this comment.
I found this news report in Chinese, confirming the possibility of my theory on Leslie’s sudden suicide being a case of over exerted acting and could not get out of his roll in his recent movie Inner Senses.
Leslie is one of the Best Actor nominees for this years Hong Kong Film Awards, which was planned to be presented this Sunday has been postponed indefinitely.
UPDATE (04 April) : The Hong Kong Film Awards will proceed as orignally planned on this Sunday, the 6th.
Two days ago, I have reported this.
The government has now moved all of the remaining residents, except for those who fled before the confinement order, of Block E Amoy Gardens to several isolated camps late last night and before dawn this morning. I see several improvements during the move. One of which being all medical personnel were wearing front covering surgical gowns rather than the front opening doctors gowns.
All police officers were wearing some sort of green uniform and green boots. I am not sure if these are their summer uniform or some other special purpose uniform.
However during the move, I saw one of the buses had its windows complete closed at its departure, which is a no no.
At the camp this morning, I saw most staffs were wearing white coverall suit; presumably the disposable ones. This is a major improvement on protect wear. Well done.
At the camps, residents reported that they have to share a washroom among every 5 families. Although this is no fulfill holiday trip to a 5 star hotel, but the residents’ concern is a legitimate one, as the organizer had the residents cleaned the washrooms themselves but reportedly without any disinfectants! This is very odd to say the least, as one of the alleged sources for the mysterious outbreak at Block E of the Amoy Gardens was from human wastes throughout the toilet waste disposal pipes.
Go figure.
WhaUSay?!
