Schools starts Monday for Form 3 and up. Form 1 and 2, and Primary Schools’ starting date has been postponed one more week to the 28th.
The situation now in the HKSAR is actually worse than before the schools stopped.
I have said it many times before and I’ll say it again,
Mediocrity for a quick buck is most Hong Kongers’ motto.
As it is, more and more people are going back to the streets for getting too bored from staying home so long. I also see more people wearing medical masks under their noses and some over their chins only on the streets. With the schools opening without substantial curbing the spread of the virus, I predict that, and god forbid, there will be a second and bigger wave of hit by the virus soon.
Every businessman and government official knows the spread of the virus is hurting the image of the region. While they kept looking for a business solution, why can’t they just get tough and start a series of drastic medical procedures? Look at Taiwan and Vietnam, even the Mainland China is doing much better than us. We are the last and the least! When will the government officials get their heads out of their asses and see the light?!
