F1 Refuelling Problem

Intertechnique, the French company that manufactures the refuelling rig for Formula 1 racing teams claims that the refuelling problem with JPM at the last race in Imola was a human error instead of a machine problem.

Jean-Paul Jury, F1 project engineer of Intertechnique went on and said, “There are teams who give pit stops major importance, but others don’t. At Ferrari, for example, there have never been any problems during refuelling.”

That isn’t true. A quick search with Googles reveals
“Lap 46: Rubens Barrichello did his second and final stop of the day. A refuelling-rig problem caused Barrichello to be stopped for almost 20 seconds and dropped him to fourth postion.”
