In 2001, former Champ Car Champion Alex Zanardi had an accident during a race in Lausitzing, Germany which had both his legs amputated. It is good to see Alex is back on the track as Grand Marshall, as well as finishing his 13 remaining laps of the 2001 race back in Lausitzing with remarkable lap time.
