A movie about an Affair of the Man from U.N.C.L.E. was on the TCM Channel tonight.
It is still very nice to see U.N.C.L.E. Agents Nepolean Solo and Illya Kuryakin in action again after all these years.
Hey me! Talk to me!

As of 3:00pm Hong Kong time this afternoon, Hong Kong has officially been removed from the WHO list of SARS infected cities. The WHO website has since been inaccessable possibly due to heavy traffic.
I’d like to thank all of the front line doctors, medical personnels, as well as all the helpers at the hospitals; specifically, I’d like to thank Dr. Ko Wing-man, director of the Hospital Authority, for a job well done.
On the 1st of July this year, the anniversary day of the return of the Region to Mainland China, local democrats are organizing and urging citizens to join them in a march to protest against the legislation of Article 23 of the Basic Law. It has become a local tradition for democrats organizing marches every time they do not agree with or support the Government. They strive for the one-citizen-one-vote methods, yet they themselves would walk out of LEGCO meetings to protest against decided LEGCO voting results that’s not in their favor. To embrace in a voting system and then go against voting results that are against their wishes is simply a contradiction.
When asked by friends to participate this march, I simply ignored them. I don’t approve of everything this Government has done so far, and I think things could be done in much better ways; but I don’t approve of the acts of local democrats either. I refuse to been seen as having the same line of thought as local democrats, so I would not participate in any event that is organized by them. If we were to gang up on the Government, such bullying act either way is no better than the Government or the Triads.
I think local citizens should think for themselves and act for themselves. Too many times have locals been goats of a herd that follow what ever the “norm” or who ever has the loudest voice is doing, without knowing all the actual facts for themselves. What sickens me most is some parents even bring their kids into it. Kids, who don’t know better, should not be used as puppets by their parents. Instead, they should be educated on how to find out the facts for themselves first, and then let them act accordingly but guided by the parents to act sensibly without going against the law.
WhaUSay?!
