I usually keep an open mind when it comes to trying out new software. The latest encounter is Mozilla V1.5b’s email and newsgroup client as well as it’s standalone version, Thunderbird. (I reported my first encounter with Mozilla V1.3 here).
I have been using an older version of Forte Agent as my email and newsgroup client after switching from one year’s use of Netscape Navigator ever since I have gotten onto the Internet some 8 years ago. Forte Agent has is own problem of being too slow on coming out with upgrades to keep up with the latest options and features becoming available over the years. It is only a plain text based software with launching capability for HTML and graphic or other attachments alike, and It does not even support multiple accounts.
