It’s Halloween time and I have bought some Nastle’s Crunch and KitKat for Trick or Treat. And what a trick it was…
I found that Nastle has changed both of these Chocolate formulae and turned them into something like those cheap Chinese chocolate gold coins we used to get during Chinese New Year. A check on the KitKat rapping unveils the secret… “cocoa butter replacer”, and it tastes just like the name suggests - synthetic. Yuk!

Found this script for setting up a subscription to comments posted in a MT blog option for visitors. Given my lack of MT/HTML knowledge, I think I might have to ask my good friend Tin very nicely to see if he would help me implement it in his spare time before I screwed it up… ^_*

Service Setting->Contrast.
Although this says Contrast, I think it is a Brightness setting rather than a Contrast setting. Beware that brighter settings might use up more batteries.

The Nokia 6600 Symbian PDA phone is out and it’s available at Sin Dat Plaza in Mongkok for HKD$3780 Hong Kong goods; less for water goods. However, it is an English only version.

After less than one week with the Clie and Bluetooth GPRS connection… if not for the HKD$38 unlimited GPRS usage plan from Sunday, the cost would have been over HKD$255 under its regular GPRS plan!
I have been auto forwarding incoming email messages from my ISP POP3 email account to my personal IMAP email account, and I’ve been using Mozilla’s Thunderbird email client for a few weeks now.
Although my phone can pick up email messages with its built-in IMAP email client, I have been reluctant to use it for the lack of any SPAM filter on the phone itself. I have been receiving a average of about 1 SPAM email every 20 minutes or so presumably all forwarded from the ISP email account, since my personal email account is relative new and I haven’t been using it in the public. I should get at least a few months of calm period free from any SPAM email to my personal account.
To enjoy this calm period, I have decided to stop forwarding emails from the ISP account and use Thunderbird to receiving email separately from these two accounts. To make use of the IMAP features, I have found out that I can simply drag and drop emails from one account to another just like one could from one folder to another within the same account. So now, whenever I receive a legit email from my ISP POP3 account, I simply drag them to my personal IMAP email account’s inbox and I get to view them from any of my computers at home and work alike. I could also receive email from my IMAP account with my phone relatively free of SPAM emails, hopefully for a long time to come.
Of the many new phones coming out from Nokia these days, short from getting into the 6600 Symbian PDA phone, although the Opera’s Small Screen Rendering (SSR) for viewing of desktop-sized web pages with the 6600 sounds very attractive, the more classic Nokia phone style’s 6230 might just be the one that could do away with the lousy SE T610.

Anyone here in Hong Kong thinking about getting Nokia’s game phone, N-Gage, might want to hold for the possible major price drop soon, as the US retail price has just been dropped by a whopping 33%!
WhaUSay?!
