Took me quite sometime trying to track down a problem with MSIE and MT2.64 where the comment pop up box of MT would not show the header characters when there is no comment already entered before. This is only happening with MSIE and MT2.64, and not MT2.63.
I’d noticed that the problem only exist with the default “Clean” and the preset optional “Gettysburg” stylesheet which is posted on the MT website, and I have a feeling that “Plain Jane” is also affected. Just about every other weblog that I have seen which is using one of the rest of the preset optional stylesheets have no problem with MSIE.
Given my very limited (read non-existing) HTML knowledge, I was trying to copy and paste a couple of lines here and there replacing the lines on my stylesheet just to see if it would make any difference, but to no avail.
I’ve finally plunged down and replaced the entire stylesheet and the problem is gone.
So here we are with the “new” look.
in Hong Kong are generally poor drivers. Just about everywhere I go, whenever I see a car around me that was driven poorly or irresponsibly, couldn’t be parked properly, or took forever to be parked would be a Mercedes. Those who rode with me often, whether I was driving at the time or not, have noticed this as well because I would always point out the car which was indeed a Mercedes.
There I thought most Mercedes drivers are just that while they are driving; but yesterday, I’ve found otherwise.
I was parking directly across the one lane street and less than thirty feet away from the front door of a Wellcome supermarket behind a Mercedes. The lady driver came back with a shopping cart full of groceries and was loading them into the trunk. After she had closed the lid of the trunk, she took a quick glimpse around herself and then quickly park the shopping cart right by the tree beside her car on the curb, ran back to her car and then drove off; just as if she knew it wasn’t a decent thing to do.
Well, this sort of action is not limited to Mercedes drivers alone, but it is another observation I happened to notice on a Mercedes driver.
WhaUSay?!
