I love Jacob’s Club Orange which are easily available in Hong Kong, but I miss Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups from North America. Reese’s used to be available at the USA Co. in Hong Kong until the company went under. I just found them at city’super for HKD$35 in a Halloween type pack. Which is a steal for a similar chocolate coated peanut butter piece in similar size costing over HKD$12 a piece at See’s Candy!
Reese’s homepage linked above missed one important product from the company introduced in the 80’s – Reese’s Pieces, which I think m&m’s copied to become today’s m&m’s peanut butter.
I am searching the “Jacob’s Club Orange” on the internet and saw your comments on “it is easily available in HK”, can you tell me where can I get it? Since I tried several supermarkets, they all told me is gone after CNY…. and my friend in Canada really wants it…. it is the same feeling as you want “Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups”, hope you can help!!
For Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, I love it so much too, I was so happy when I went trick-o-treat and got Reese’s, you know, normally people only gives out cheap candies…. ha ha ha
Although I haven’t checked the stock after CNY, Jacob’s Club Orange are usually available at Wellcome under their cookies and biscuits shelves rather than their chocolate shelves. The Wellcome on Oxford Road, Kowloon Tong regularly carries them. Park and Shop usually carry the newer Club Grape but no Club Orange.
