The US House of Representatives had recently voted in favour of legislation to make it illegal to sue fast food companies that may have made people obese.

I’d vote for it to be illegal to vote for idiots in power in the US as part of Globalization.
Not that I am for or against the idea, and I believe we are all responsible for our own act (to have eaten too much of anything and not exercise enough); but if a legal system gives the people a chance to sue tobacco companies, why not other companies in other industries? They are afraid that court rulings may turn out one way and not the other?
