Today at the Nurburgring, Takuma Sato was in third coming out of his last pit stop with about 10 laps to go right behind the second car which was Barrichello’s. Takuma went to the inside of the first corner trying to overtake Barrichello while Barrichello was closing the door on him and he crashed into Barrichello damaging his own wing and had to come in for a wing replacement. A couple of laps later, Takuma’s engine blew, presumably from overheating his engine waiting for the ring replacement.
Dumb rookie!
Had Takuma stayed cool, he would have been the first Asian ever on the F1 podium.
Back to last week’s Schumacher Montoya incident. Just about everywhere on the net is saying Montoya crashed into Schumacher. When in fact while the tunnel was just over 4 car’s width wide and Montoya had to go to the inside of the turn touching the side of the tunnel to avoid Schumacher’s sudden lockup of his breaks while kept on closing the door and crashed into Montoya leaving Montoya no way to go. Schumacher did not have to close the door and could have gone wide to avoid the entire incident as the Pace Car was on the track and no one was allowed to pass or would have to relinquish the gain even if a pass were made or else face a penalty. So there was no way Montoya could have gained anything on Schumacher for the race at that moment anyway.
Dumb vetaran!
And ahhh oh yeah Ralf, take a driving lesson would ya?!
Time after time after time, I keep telling my friends and relatives to purchase and install a legit up-to-date copy of an anti-virus program, any anti-virus program. Almost none listened. Yet I am getting an average of one call per month from friends or relatives (sometimes from the same ones) telling me that one of their computers has caught some sort of a virus and asking me what to do.
“Have you not installed any anti-virus program?” The answers were either a “No.” or “Expired long time ago.”
“Well, go buy one and have it installed, and hopefully it could get rid of the virus but nothing much we could do about damage repair…”
I am sorry, but I am not technically inclined enough to do any damage repair.
So,
Go purchase and install a legit copy of anti-virus and keep it updated.
Go purchase and install a legit copy of anti-virus and keep it updated.

This is what I bought for Alec the other day…..

along with a couple of plastic darts, a small whistle, and a plastic nunchaku within the HKD$10 package.
And this is the receipt I got for the package with 3 electricity saving light bulbs as well…

I suppose the phone might ring tonight from certain long time no see friends of mine who are former members of the Klingon High Council, which their names will remain undisclosed, telling me what an honorable set it is to buy for Alec; but then GWB might raid my home soon.

M and I take showers quite often. Aside from the usual number of once per day, we sometimes take up to 3 showers a day. So naturally, we use up a lot of soap/body shampoo. We need an inexpensive soap that’s not bad for our skin.
Acene has a few that’s quite inexpensive. We had tried a few that’s still not listed in their website yet. Their largest bottle is probably the largest bottle of body shampoo that one could find in any local shops. At a usual discounted price of just less than HKD$25 a bottle, sometimes even with a free normal size sample of another Acene product, it is the best bargain there is and it is one of the most concentrated (thick) formula I have tried so far. However, it is also because of that concentration, it does not mix with water too well. I tried diluting it with water in a separate bottle with vigorous shaking and in just a couple of days the water would float back to the top separating from the shampoo again. One can find this formula almost everywhere.
We then tried their almost identical look but in a about 1/3 smaller bottle formula. The price was around $10 on sale. Price-wise this is a better deal which we thought they were of the same formula but it is not nearly as concentrated as the first one . As it turns out, this one has the best scent and the scent is kind of subtle. Pound for pound, this is not as inexpensive as the first one, but I like this one a lot better than the first one. One can find this formula at Watson’s. However, Watson’s are usually a little out of our way, so we just had the two bottles we bought.
A couple of weeks ago, I found a third formula from Acene at Manning’s on sale from the quoted price of $35.95 to the sale price of $9.90. This one has ginseng in it and it is about 1/5 less in size than the second one. I decided to give it a try and bought one bottle. The scent it not a fragrancy as the second one and not exactly ginseng or Chinese herb medicine smelling but rather natural scent. Not a bad choice either, so I went to Manning’s and got a couple of bottles more yesterday only to find that they have raised the sale price to $13.90! A whopping 40% increase in just two weeks. Well, it is still not a bad price for the size compared with other brands.
Neither of these three products are listed in their website yet. Although I like the third one also, I think I might go back to the second one if the price hasn’t increase much.

Wow! What a heart pounding race!
Today at Monaco has got to be the most interesting race in years with Trulli finally got his first career win and Button came literally just hairlines behind if it wasn’t for that stupid Minardi back marker, Bum… whatever his name is, right at the last corner who let Trulli went by but not Button.
Speaking of stupid back marker, Ralf did it again! Slow down inside the famous tunnel ON THE RACE LINE for Alonso. And Alonso was stupid enough to fall for Ralf’s trick, who obviously was playing one on Alonso since Alonso and Trulli were ahead of his brother Michael, banged again the wall and exploded the car literally!
And then there was Michael, just behind the pace car while Trulli took the opportunity to pit, slammed on the breaks locking up all his tires and almost took Montoya with him! Michael crashed and destroyed his front end and his race. Fortunately for Montoya, who came out alright.
Earlier in the race, Sato’s engine blew with a huge white smoke blocking the view of the track for over 10 seconds, and when Coulthard slowed down going through the smoke, Fisichella slammed on to his back and the whole car went airborne.
Man, awesome, is all I can say.
A US soldier was court martialed and jailed for refusing to go back to Iraq for he said the war was an illegal one.
Even though I too think the war was illegal, in a military however, soldiers simply have no personal choice. One could quit the military in some countries but not in some other countries.
The father of the jailed US soldier had it right though…

Former F1 World Champion and record holder for most wins in a row Nigel Mansell, who said that there is something wrong with the current system when Michael Schumacher did not have to overtake anyone last week at Barcelona but got past the leader Trulli with the pits, was not entirely correct.
According to the records, Michael’s, who pitted one lap later after Trulli, pit time was 0.8s SLOWER than Trulli’s, yet Michael came out ahead of Trulli.
That means Michael did the overtaking at the one single flying lap at about a whopping 1.5 seconds faster than Trulli’s previous laps before he pitted!
I am no Michael’s fan, but Michael, who has shown us many times that he is averaging about 2 seconds faster than his competitions almost every single lap and almost lapping all others in almost every race this year including his teammate, is indeed in a class of his own, and I think it is about time people realize this reality.

At the Festival Walk mall which is basically a food fair with service. Cafe mi has taken what the Great Food Fair has left off with the memory card check tap system. A customer could either opt for shopping his own food with the memory card or order them with the waitress. In either case, the food will be brought to the table as soon as they are ready.
The food is not too bad with some of the restaurants which they’re the most famous for dishes of their kind. Like Mug Un for Won Ton noodles, etc. Prices are at a premium for a food fair. We ordered 4 pcs of Unagi sushi, 4 pcs of Hotate sushi, a bowl of Won Ton, a bowl of Won Ton noodles, a bowl of Bibimbob which is Korean “Stonebowl” Rice but came with a porcelain bowl!
The bill came to just over HKD$200, and… no water!
I didn’t feel like paying $5 for a pot of hot water, nor would I pay over $20 for a bottle of mineral water. Plain water wasn’t served and I didn’t feel like asking. So, off to the car park and brought back my own bottle from the truck of my car where I usually keep several bottles of water.
Aside from the water, the service was actually rather good. However, no water - no going back.
WhaUSay?!
