Time after time after time, I keep telling my friends and relatives to purchase and install a legit up-to-date copy of an anti-virus program, any anti-virus program. Almost none listened. Yet I am getting an average of one call per month from friends or relatives (sometimes from the same ones) telling me that one of their computers has caught some sort of a virus and asking me what to do.
“Have you not installed any anti-virus program?” The answers were either a “No.” or “Expired long time ago.”
“Well, go buy one and have it installed, and hopefully it could get rid of the virus but nothing much we could do about damage repair…”
I am sorry, but I am not technically inclined enough to do any damage repair.
