Someone should do something to him…
and the like.
I can never quite understand those who talks really fast all the time as if they were really efficient in doing everything but in fact they are just the opposite for they hear but they do not listen.
I just received a call from a real estate agent asking me for the pricing info and he talked very fast. He asked me about a 1600 sq.ft. unit and I told him none are available at the moment and the closest I have would be 1800 sq.ft. ones. I talked meticulously. He then asked me really fast what the price for the 1600 sq.ft. is…
Da!!!!
“I have no 1600sq.ft. available.”
“Oh, what do you have?”

For the next 10 minutes on the phone with Mr. ODF, I had to repeat everything at least twice meticulously while he kept his own speedy pace. Maybe we needed a match pair of modems with the same baud rate or something.
Then I received another call from some insurance and fund company asking me who is in charge of the company’s MPF - Mandatory Provident Fund. I told her I am, and I am the only employee of the company….
“Then have you any MPF?”
HELLO, it is *MANDATORY* is it not?!
The government is proposing a law to demolish the rental restrictions, where for many years have been a protection for tenants and unfairness to property owners rendering a result of many tenants refusing to pay rent or to vacate the premisses.
The Democrats object the Government’s proposal, and the Liberals counter propose to remain a restriction for all rental charges on below HKD$3000 with a property owner notification of no less than 3 years prior to any reclamation of their rented properties under any contract. This 3 year notification is even a tougher restriction than the original restriction where the owner can reclaim the property for the owners own use, for rebuild, or tenant refusal to pay rent.
With most rental contracts being a 1 or 2 year agreement and the Liberals’ counter proposal, suppose a tenant signs a 1 year rental contact one day, the owner is then supposed to have told the tenant 2 years before they even met should the owner only wish to let the property for 1 single year?!
Martin has this photo in his site.
Maybe they should let Beckham opt to shoot the penalty all the way from their own goal.
I am not sure how rare a googlewack actually is, but thanks to Anna from England who pointed out this site had become a googlewack.

I hope I didn’t ruin the status somehow by posting this or anything.
Many thanks to Anna for letting me know.
Quite often, you walk into a lift where a smoker just walked out with a cigarette in hand, and you are stuck in a closed lift with smoke all over.
Hey! Wait a little longer until you get out before you light one up is not gonna make you live a whole lot longer, ya know! If you’d really like to die so much quicker, just let me stick one up yours! Jackasses!

“A is for Al Qaeda and amnesia. Are you old enough to remember when the war on terror was being fought against people who actually attacked us?”…
Kinda reminds me of Eddie Murphy’s Mr. Rogers in Saturday Night Live.
“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood…
Good morning boys and girls…
What would you like to be when you grow up? Would you like to be a cop, so you can get shot at by bad people? Or would you like to be a Fireman and have burning walls fall on you?…”
Thanks to jean who posted the link over at Hunkabutta.
Just saw a special on National Geographic about a photographer chasing storms to capture and sell footages to TV networks. It showed him using this satellite phone connecting the Internet and uploading footages thru his laptop computer.
A check with the network reviewed that the service plan for such a phone is surprisingly low especially with free data access, and relatively low cost of the phone itself comparing to my first regular cell phone here in Hong Kong some 10 years ago. Actually the sat phone here is now less expensive than that cell phone I had!
Should the price of the phone keep dropping, it would not be too bad an option considering current charges for voice calls over sat phones could even be cheaper than roaming charges for a regular cell phone in some major countries, and one would not have to worry about network compatibility.

WhaUSay?!
