Goal that Saved France’s Team

but lost it’s face.

In a France vs Croatia football (soccer) match last night, France desperately came back from 1-2 with a goal that was unmistakably a handball fault by the Franch striker, but the referee let the goal thru to become 2-2.

“A poor backpass from Robert Kovac put Butina under pressure from Trezeguet and his attempt at a clearance hit the forward, leaving him with the simple task of sidefooting into an empty net.”

Absolutely no mentioning of the “possible” handball fault in the BBC’s report.

We see enough of these BS in the last World Cup where referees let big teams go for their faults and fouls. That’s why I keep losing interest in football. And it’s becoming similarly with Formula 1. :-(
