Print to PDF

Last week, Tin showed me his PowerMac being able to print documents into PDF files. He then led me to a site which supposedly has a software that can do the same for PC. Unfortunately, for some unknown reasons, the installation went fine but the printout did not.

Actual PDF file can be downloaded here.

I just found another freeware that does just the job. PrimoPDF. It works with Word (haven’t checked other software yet) and be able to print Chinese as well with options to print for screen PDF or printer PDF. Aside from the hyperlink created with Word that doesn’t work in the PDF file, everything else seems to work quite nicely.

Best of all, no watermarks.

Update (03/08/04): Shortly after I posted this message, PrimoPDF’s website went down for a few days. I have just checked and it is back up now. I’ve also found Go2PDF, which is another virtual printer kind of PDF file creater. I haven’t tested this myself, so do your own test.
