Perhaps it’s an age thing.
Whenever I have a thought, either an idea or about to do something, if I were to be interrupted by the phone, the door bell, or whatever, when I come back to it I would have lost that thought. I would know I had a thought, but I couldn’t remember what it was. It may take half an hour, a few hours, or a few days to get back to the thought. It may never come back to me. Simply put, no short term memory.
What’s may seem to be worse though, I have too good of a long term memory. What hurts, hurts forever! Not that this kind of hurting matters too much in life but rather frustrating nonetheless.
The Hipster PDA http://www.43folders.com/2004/09/introducing_the.html to the rescue.
Unless there is a constant live recording of my brain, I don’t see anything else could help.
You just have too many things occupying your mind. Nothing can help unless you can ignore the nitty-gritty of your life.
BTW, the ‘remember personal info’ option in your comment box seems not working properly.
Actually, I might be a bit too care free about everything and never pay enough attention to remember anything at all. Introduce a friend to me, I can forget the name before you finish the sentence.
Don’t know much about the personal info thing. How is your cookies and security level setup? I Don’t know if it has anything to do with it either though.
I have similar problem with memory: while I can remember the value of pi as 3.14159265358979323846264…, I can’t remember the name of new friends. It’s about how much you care, and how many things in your mind.
I don’t have problem with tin’s blog on ‘remember me’ setting. So it’s not my broswer problem, I guess.
Would need to ask Tin, because he set the whole thing up for me and I have absolutely no idea how anything works here other than putting in a few links and some page spacing. It might also be part of this specific page style I chose, in which case, even Tin might not know either. :-p
