Mizuno Runners

Bought my very first pair of Mizuno runners about 2 months ago. The Mizuno 8KA-56200 series Conquest 2. They were about HKD$270 a pair. I have been wearing them for gym ever since in place of the 6 year old New Balance.

The Mizunos have less lateral support but are much much lighter than the New Balance, which is understandably so since these Mizunos are for street running and New Balances are for all terrain.

Last Saturday, I was in the area (Shum Sui Po) of the shop I bought them from, so I went in to have a look and found a few other colors of the same shoes on sale for HKD$199! So I bought another pair in a different accented color to replace my 5 year old Fila tennis shoes which I only use them for daily street walking anyway. At these kinda prices for such a nice and ultra light pair of runners it’s practically a steal these days considering the New Balances are at least HKD$300 to over $500 a pair in Mongkok.

The shop I bought the Mizunos from is the one and only sports shop right at the Golden Computer Centre building, Shum Sui Po. I was told they have some of the best prices in HK.
