Put Google Maps onto the iPod

That’s iPod photos, iPod nanos, or iPod videos. Via screen shots. Here is how.

Get a pda and map software instead,is way better.

My new Palm TX installed with a HK map software, very good. It come with a function that you enter a lamp post number, the palm show you where the post is. Cool.

However, I am afraid Palm is dying breed. Even Palm themselves have started introducing a PPC phone and the long awaited Palm OS 6 still hasn’t materialize.

See my new blog message at:

I am very happy with my T|X. It perform better than my colleague’s more expensive HP3715: better screen, smoother video playing, and of course easier to use. You don’t have to click “create new item” to enter an appointment, and no “confirm change’ buttons in the Palm OS.

Window Mobile OS, moreover, are not very stable. You will need to reset a PPC daily. LOL from a Palm user.

Tin is right. The T|X is probably good for another 3 years. I just have too many Palm program and e-books on hand. Doesn’t worth to deal with M$ and download everything again for the moment.

NeXT OS, Sun OS, OS/2… they were all better than WinO$. I had a HPC and I currently have 2 Palm machines with no intention to buy any PPC machines. However Palm OS is better than anything, however we like it or not, whether we own one new or old, all have nothing to do with anything. I am afraid Palm is a dying breed. The truth of the matter is, we don’t know whether they have 3 more years, 3 more months, or 3 more decades. Texwood is still with us and who do you know nowadays still buy and wear Apple Jeans? They are as good as dead. Whether we think Palm machines are any good is nearly entirely irrelevant. Palm themselves think it is time to start having their own PPC model. Besides, PPC is not the only other kid in the block. The fact that we own anything does not automatically make what we own the ultimate of its kind and completely without flaws. There are more to the success of a product than its quality and functionality, like market strategies and financial situations. You, of all people, should know better.

I just use Palm. I never buy it’s stock. Don’t worry.
