Hey! Wait! I have just changed my mind!!! We would like you to sell of all our properties for us, whoever you are! Just because you are so different from all other agents who do actually leave their personal names, company names, and phone numbers. Not that I would bother to write them down anyway.

Those guys have no buying client despite their saying so. All they want to do is either for you to set a price and they’d then take it as your offer for them to put it in the market, or they’d turn around and try to get you into buying another unit. Even Lee’s offer to ??? was fake, he just want to jack up the price of their new complex in the area.
A few years back before the bubble bursted, real estate agents kept calling my old man asking him whether he would be willing to sell his property for whatever sum of money. My old man kept telling them that if they knew about anyone offering a similar property for the same price do let him know.
It was of course all crap. Cold calling is a desperate measure. Be easy on the poor sods.
I have been in this business long enough to find out most of these guys if they are not out cheating your kid for his lollypop they’d be kissing your old man’s ass. Not even does cold calling not work, it does damage to company image. Those who do a proper job of cold calling at least give their professional courtesy but then again, those who knew how to give proper professional courtesy do not need to cold call. All this iDiot have done was just completely wasted everyone’s precious time including his own. Others just call to piss you off. They could be anything but poor sods.
