After a round of partying, many of us in the family have been longing for some biking and rollerblading. This morning, Alec and I went with William’s family, Alice’s family, Alan, Stanley, and Charmaine. Since many of us have not been coming to our Sunday bike runs, we ended up leaving home shortly after 9:30am, about an hour later than usual.
The weather was perfect but Alec got too excited for having so many cousins coming along, he was biking a little too fast too close behind one of his cousins, and when he stopped in front of Alec suddenly, Alec crashed into him. The cousin was unhurt but Alec scuffed his knee and elbow a bit. No big deal. In between the about an hour and 15 minute stop and go run, I managed to do three 5 minute max’ed out sprints on my bike, which was a great workout.
A longer distant run would have been even better.
