It’s been raining for quite a few days now. And I can’t remember how many years it’s been in a roll row (Oops, spelling mistake that’s been checked through the spell checker*) that I had planned to go out and shoot the dragon boat races only ended up canceled and stayed home. I was all ready for it this year with a raincoat and all but planning to go out with the family happens to be different from planning to go out on my own.
We were all set to go to Discovery Bay and visit a friend who lives there this year. The eve was semi clear and we planned to go on the 8:00am ferry. At 6:00am, it was just pouring. M and Alec didn’t want to go in the rain, and I didn’t want to leave them home for the holiday, so we all stayed home and did nothing. Well…, Alec studied.
Looks like it’s gonna be another rainy weekend coming… and it feels like Robinson Crusoe writing this.
* Take note, Toby and MoLoi, I’d just made the same mistake. You can row your boat but be sure not to roll it though.
Maybe I should get a better spell checker.
