Enola Gay,
you should have stayed at home yesterday
Aha words can’t describe the feeling and the way you liedThese games you play, they’re gonna end in more than tears someday
Aha Enola Gay, it shouldn’t ever have to end this wayIt’s 8:15, and that’s the time that it’s always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and you’re coming homeEnola Gay, is mother proud of Little Boy today
Aha this kiss you give, it’s never ever gonna fade awayEnola Gay, it shouldn’t ever have to end this way
Aha Enola Gay, it shouldn’t fade in our dreams awayIt’s 8:15, and that’s the time that it’s always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and you’re coming homeEnola Gay, is mother proud of Little Boy today
Aha this kiss you give, it’s never ever gonna fade away
Who is he?…
And the winner is….
I seldom listen to rock in the past decade or more now but this one is performed quite well. It is “Pat Benatar” well. Here is the lyrics…
I hope the ring you gave to her
Turned her finger green
I hope when you’re in bed with her
You think of me
I would never wish bad things
But I don’t wish you well
Could you tell
By the flames that burned your words
I never read your letter
Cause I knew what you’d say
Give me that Sunday school answer
Try to make it all okay
Does it hurt
To know ill never be there
bet it sucks
to see my face everywhere
It was you
Who chose to end it like you did
I was the last to know
You knew
Exactly what you would do
Don’t say
You simply lost your way
She may believe you
But I never will
Never again
If she really knows the truth
She deserves you
A trophy wife
Oh how cute
Ignorance is bliss
But when your day comes
And he’s through with you
And he’ll be through with you
You’ll die together but alone
You wrote me in a letter
You couldn’t say it right to my face
Give me that Sunday school answer
Repent yourself away
Does it hurt
To know ill never be there
Bet it sucks to see my face everywhere
It was you
Who chose to end it like you did
I was the last to know
You knew
Exactly what you would do
And don’t say
You simply lost your way
They may believe you
But I never will
Never again
Never again will I hear you
Never again will I miss you
Never again will I fall to you
Never
Never again will I kiss you
Never again will I want to
Never again will I love you
Never!
Does it hurt
To know ill never be there
Bet it sucks to see my face everywhere
It was you
Who chose to end it like you did
I was the last to know
You knew
Exactly what you would do
Don’t say
You simply lost your way
They may believe you
But I never will
I never Will
I never will
Never again
Don’t kid yourself. Despite your diligent effort, you can’t sing. Ever. Your MV is a nightly agony. Stick to acting.
A 20 years old Korean artist. Her latest concert DVD – DoA the Live.
I have never bought any of her CDs or DVDs. The only recollection of her performance were glimpses on TV which showed her as a very talented and energetic dancer singer. Since this DVD is a Japanese code 2 edition everything was printed in Japanese. To be honest, I had no idea what’s in it and I was expecting a good dancing performance with an average rock singing voice.
As it turned out, it is in a jazzy soft rock style (I should have guessed with the familiar English song titles). There were hardly any dancing by BoA herself but instead, and to my biggest surprise, she just sat there for several songs and just sang away with a few slow songs! She was really showing her excellent singing talent which her much faster rock songs never revealed! A true vocalist. Perhaps she is changing her style I don’t know, as I am not familiar with her previous songs and performances but it is all for the better.
Theme song of
and Gloria Gaynor. We went to their concert last night. The problem with this kind of concert is that drinks were not allowed in the concert hall. It should have been an outdoor seatless event. Some audiences must have been in their 70s or more so naturally, if you take out the foreigners, it was not an “excited” crowd at all. With David being there made it an even more miserable sceen. Actually, we hardly saw him as he must have been sitting while everyone rushed to the front and stood there all around him. I wonder if he saw anything but people’s butts. The Cool and the Gang was supposed to be there as well but I think it was due to the poor ticket sales they’ve decided to drop them in the end without prior notice. Loudspeakers were not enough and not positioned well enough to give a full sound for the audience on the sides. The 8 o’clock concert did not start until 8:30pm. The Village People were then late for their flight and left without an encore and even missed one of their major song – Go West despite If they keep up with this kind of concert format for this type of performers, concerts would become the next dying breed after cinema movies. BTW, this is to the recorded female announcer, the word is “beverages” not “beverlages”. Playing the recording over and over again for more than 45 minutes before each and every concert isn’t going to make it sound any better. More photos here.our my rumbling, cheering, and yelling for it! I suggest any future concert goers to buy a CD or a DVD rather than paying so much for a poorly sounded and poorly organized concert, especially for those miserable downer audiences. It’s a rock/disco concert not a theatrical musical play for crying out loud!
There are actually two versions of this CD. One is just a regular CD, another is a limit edition CD + DVD with a nice cartoon book drawn by some Japanese artist which I don’t know of, and a nice booklet about the songs. The DVD has a MV and a documentary on the production of the English songs on the DVD where were done in Chicago, USA. The MV looks like a Chinese production since the quality of the MV is quite bad. However, the audio quality of the CD and Jane’s performance is top notch!
Highly recommended.
